October 22, 2008: Vocabulary - Collecting of Terms/Vocabulary about Pirates

October 29, 2008: Continue collecting interesting & unknown words. Read Chapter 3.

November 5, 2008: We finished reading Chapter 3 and started building our model of a pirate ship. Remember to read Chapter 4 and continue to collect vocabulary from the chapter.

November 12, 2008: We read Chapter 5 and worked on the pirate ship. Next meeting you need to read Chapter 6, 7, 8, & 9. Next week, we will be working on creating pirate codes, tying ship knots, and drawing pirates, pirate ships, and maps.

NEW MEETING TIME

Hi Members,

We will be changing our meeting time from Wednesday morning to Wednesday afternoon from 3:40 - 4:25 so that everyone can make it.
